What is a TOTP code?
TOTP is a time-based one-time password defined in RFC 6238. It combines a shared secret with the current time to produce a short-lived code. A common setup uses SHA-1, six digits and a 30-second period.
Does it work with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and Authy?
Standard TOTP entries produce matching codes when the secret, algorithm, digit count and time period match. This tool does not support push approvals, SMS codes, proprietary tokens or encrypted Authy backup imports.
Why is my code being rejected?
Check the complete secret, enable automatic clock synchronization on your device, and match the service’s algorithm, digits and period. If a code is about to expire, wait for the next one.
Do you store or upload my secret?
No. Secrets and codes are processed in this browser page and are not stored in local storage or cookies. Button actions notify the operator via our server and Feishu, containing only the action, page and time, never secrets, codes or clipboard contents. Refreshing or closing the page clears the input. Copied codes may remain in your system clipboard.
Can I recover a code without a secret?
No. You need your own TOTP setup secret. This tool cannot bypass two-factor authentication, recover someone else’s secret or generate SMS and email codes. If you lost your secret, use recovery codes or contact the original service.
Is it free? Does it work offline?
Yes, it is free and requires no account. After the page finishes loading, code generation works offline while the page remains open. Opening or reloading it requires a connection. A dedicated authenticator app is recommended for everyday secret storage.
